HTC is coming up with a phablet the Desire 8 seems to be codenamed as A5. The existence of the Desire 8 was confirmed by HTC China. But it's specifications and pricing hasn't been officially revealed. HTC might release this smartphone or phablet at MWC 2014.According to @evleaks it will come in black,red,purple,white and yellow. We have also heard that there will also be cyan and orange models too, so that's a total of seven possible colors versions.
@evleaks also revealed some specs of the device like a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor clocked at 1.6 GHz along side 1.5 GB of Ram. Apart from that the device will feature a 5.5" 720p Super LCD 2 Display. Boomsound speakers, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera,8GB of internal storage with a micro-sd cart slot. Android 4.4 Kitkat and HTC Sense 6 will be running out of the box.
It is said that the device will launch in Asia, Europe and US. We are looking forward to hear the official words about the device from HTC. Stay tuned to ADB for more news,rumors,how tos etc about Android.
