Is this Nexus 8?
Google is known to host I/O Conference in June to announce its future plans; at least that’s how it has been for the past couple of years. For that very reason, people all around the globe bookmark the event and wait eagerly to get the first look of the gadgets that Google will unleash. However, it seems like Google may have some other plans this year for the annual I/O Conference. The reason behind saying that is the report, which claims that the search giant will not reveal the new version of the Android OS in June at I/O Conference, instead will be demonstrating some new Google services.

What’s interesting about this report is the source of this rumor is allegedly from Google’s offices in Dublin who also happened to have also heard something about Nexus 8 tablets. The source claims that he heard his superiors talking about the Nexus 8 tablet release and will be released alongside the new version of Android. If that is to be believed, the Nexus 8 tablet and the Android 4.5 will be announced in July sometime and not in June.

Reports are that with the Nexus 8, Google will ditch the 7 inch tablet and will jump to an 8 inch version, which seems legit to me. Now this report has some contradiction to previous rumor that claimed that ASUS will be readying 2 million units of Nexus 8 tablets by April and will be ready for June release. But that was a rumor from sources in the supply chain while this one comes directly from the Google’s office. It is extremely hard which one to believe at this moment because both rumors have their own significance. Moreover, we still got plenty of time left in I/O and with such frequency of rumors, we will definitely hear some more.
It seems that Samsung is secretly working on lite of the Samsung Galaxy Grand and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. SamMobile claims that Samsung will unveil the lite variant of Samsung Galaxy Grand and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at MWC in February 2014. These devices will carry a cheaper price tag.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite is rumored to have a 5 inch (480x800) WVGA Display with 1.2GHZ Quadcore Processor, 1GB of Ram, Dual Sim Support, 5 Mega Pixel Camera,8GB of internal storage and also a 2100mAh Battery to keeps the device running. According to the specs the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite will stand somewhere between the last year's Samsung Galaxy Grand and recently released Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.

Speaking about the Lite version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 it is rumored to have a 5.5" or 5.7" LCD Screen and a 8 Mega Pixel camera on the back.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced with two variants which are launching soon, both with Super AMOLED display. it appears that two more different Galaxy Note 3 models are in works. There is a variant with dual-sim card slots which was recently spotted on the Antutuu benchmark site. Dual-sim variant will probably called the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Duos. And there is the rumored low cost version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which is said to be with an LCD display.

It was Samsung's desire to launch a low cost variant of the Galaxy Note 3 with an LCD display. Samsung Wanted to postpone it's launch so as not mess up with the sales of the high end Super AMOLED display unit. The release date of the low cost Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be somewhere in November.

Apart from the display, the low cost variant will also feature an 8mp Camera on back instead of the 13mp on the rear of the high end premium version. There are no words yet as how much will the price of the low cost Galaxy Note 3 unit.
