The below images are claiming a redesign in the Dialer and Messaging app.
We can't see any new feature in these screenshots but change in the Dialer and Messaging App is present. The color of the Dialer is now blue. The Messages page control now moved to the top right corner.
These images also suggest that the color of the status bar also changes with the color scheme of the app. We could see KitKat next month along the new Nexus 10 and Nexus 5.
