The International version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, also known as SM-N9005, has just received a OTA Software update from Samsung firmware verison UDMJ6 which is approx about 116MB and includes a fix to the reactivation lock. This lock requires you to sign into the phone with your Samsung account after a factory reset.

While, the reactivation lock will help thieves like it is intended to go, if a user doesn't remember his Samsung account's particulars that he could be in a trouble because it would be very to difficult to get the phablet back in working condition. If you are a new Galaxy Note 3 owner and you want the reactivation lock on, you need to do it yourself by going to Settings > General > Security.

After the update, Galaxy Note 3 users will now be able to reactivate the direct pen input and the one-handed windowed mode after setting up their device to work with the Pebble smartwatch. Lastly, the update brings some changes to the virtual QWERTY keyboard.

The most anticipated HTC's first phablet the "HTC One max" is now official,Which is just announced several hours ago.And also feature a finger-print scanner just like the Apple's 2013 flagship the iPhone 5s. Finger-print scanners are not new in smartphone because the first finger-print scanner smartphone the "Motorola Atrix" was came out back in 2011. But it takes the smartphone unlocking experience to a whole new level. As you don't have to type a password 50 times a day. That Awesome isn't?

Speaking about the design the new HTC One max features the companies same tradition design language. And it looks pretty similar to the HTC One and the HTC One Mini .It is not the same aluminium uni-body though, but now the you can pull the back cover off and access the Micro SD to add more storage to the device. But the battery part is sealed it means you still can't access the battery.

It is 10.29 mm thick and 217g of weight. So it's a little bit thick for today's standards but you will not disappoint with it's huge 6" inches full HD display and the large 3300mah battery to keep the phone running for hours of gaming, music and watching movies. The excellent Boom Sound stereo speakers are on the front and a flat and square fingerprint scanner which can unlock your handset or start up to three favorite applications upon touching it with three different fingerprints is placed just under the 4up Ultra Pixel Camera.

Just like what rumors were saying, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor clocked at 1.7Ghz with 2GB of Ram and a big 5.9" inches Super LCD 3 Full HD, with 1080x1920 pixels of resolution and 367ppi. it has 32GB of internal memory plus a micro sd card slot for more storage and the 4up UltraPixel camera with f/2.0 aperture on the back plus a 2.1 MP frontal shooter with wide 88 degree viewing angle. The 3300mah battery is a welcome edition to the device.

The HTC One max runs HTC Sense 5.5 which brings some improvement over the old Sense 5.0,Now in Sense 5.5 there a BlinkFeed on/off button to turn BlinkFeed on/off for those who don't like it,And the BlinkFeed is now more social with Instagram and Google+ feeds, and more content providers and topic categories have been added. And now you can download 120 Articles for offline reading later on.It is very useful in places where you will not have access to the internet or when you are in rush and don't have time to read articles. The Video Highlights option now can be any length you want, making a complete movie out of your amateur footage by adding a soundtrack and custom theme of your choosing.

There no word on pricing but it is expected to priced lower than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra because they both have Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset which is faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600.And speaking about availability it's expected release is in mid-end October.

What do you think about the HTC's first phablet? Let us know in the comments below.
LG has finally unveiled it's phablet the LG Vu 3. LG has named it LG Vu 3 instead of LG Optimus 3 just to keep the name simple. The rumors you would be hearing about the Vu 3 are turned true. This Beast is packed with 5.2-inch display with the resolution of 1280x960 (308 ppi) which has aspect ratio of 4:3, Qualcomm Snapgragon 800 clocked at 2.3Ghz with Adreno 330 GPU running at 450Mhz is under the hood.

It Comes with 2GB of ram,a 13mp Camera Shooter with an LED flash is on the back with 1080p video recording at 30fps,and a 2.1mp shooter is on the front for video chats. Moreover LG Vu 3 comes with Android 4.2.2 JellyBean Pre-installed. It also has LTE.

It also has a dedicated rubber rhodium stylus pen which is a great feature to have in a Phablet. But except all these great features we are disappointed that it doesn't have the feature like note taking, converting it's screen as a notebook for writing and drawing etc so there is disappointment in this department for sure.

The  pricing of this beast is still unknown but the release is set for September 27.
